Stanley's Famous Hamburgers
Comfort food at its finest.
In 1932, a Polish immigrant named Stanley F. Kryla had a dream: to make an honest, affordable hamburger. In the face of the Great Depression, he opened his restaurant with a commitment to sell a simple American product home-cooked, full of flavor and affordable-everything folks needed during that challenging time in history. Comfort food at its finest.
With the freshest ingredients and top quality beef, "Stanleyburgers" became known region wide. Redolent with grilled onions and pickles, the burgers became a staple for many and the restaurant became a landmark for the Blackstone Valley.
And now, Stanley Kryla's commitment still lives on today.
Louie Augusta, the former manager of Stanley's for 10 years, purchased the business from Greg Raheb in 2016. Louie & Stanley's continues to churn out the very same honest burger. And as times have changed, so have the menu offerings, now providing a wide selection of burgers, sandwiches, fresh-cut fries, and homemade chili and soups and now with a beer & wine license! Still with the freshest ingredients. Still full of flavor. And still incredibly affordable.
